Psychotherapy Services

It is human nature to create a vision for our lives and plan our lives around that vision.  Global or life events, illness, and unexpected change can throw us "off course"; they can take us off our original path. I support you in exploring how to cope with these shifts. How to move through life in a way that feels meaningful and intentional while also honoring the space needed to grieve and experience the full range of emotions.

I offer confidential, compassionate, nonjudgmental care, supporting you in identifying your strengths while also exploring alternative perspectives and strategies.

My approach is compassionate, multi-theoretical and trauma-informed. Evidence-based modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), grief counseling, Narrative Therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, somatic work, and contemplative practices. I partner with my clients in determining goals and therapeutic approach.

Public Disclosure:

The following information is in relation to billing for psychotherapy services required to be posted by federal law and is intended to protect consumers from health care provider surprise bills. It applies to people who do not have insurance, or who are choosing to not use insurance (i.e. use an in network provider.) We do not bill out for services. Each session is to be paid in full prior to the scheduled session with a credit card held on file. Thus the client will never be holding a balance.

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide to those who do not have insurance or are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services (including mental health services). This estimate is called a Good Faith Estimate.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including mental health services. You have the right to request your health care provider (including mental health clinician) for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

For more information about the No Surprises Act, your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises. The federal phone number for information and complaints is 1-800-985-3059.
