Public Disclosure:
The following information is required to be posted by federal law and is intended to protect consumers from health care provider surprise bills. It applies to people who do not have insurance, or who are choosing to not use insurance (i.e. use an in network provider.) We do not bill out for services. Each session is to be paid in full prior to the scheduled session with a credit card held on file. Thus the client will never be holding a balance.
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide to those who do not have insurance or are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services (including mental health services). This estimate is called a Good Faith Estimate.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including mental health services. You have the right to request your health care provider (including mental health clinician) for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
