Our sessions are conducted via SimplePractice, a secure and user-friendly video conferencing platform. Prior to your appointment, you'll receive a link to join the session. Simply click the link at your scheduled time, and you'll be connected with our experienced therapist and yoga teacher.
Is online therapy as effective as in-person sessions?
Yes, research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions. Our experienced therapist is skilled in providing high-quality care through virtual platforms, ensuring you receive the support and guidance you need.
I’ve never done yoga before and don’t regularly exercise. Are your yoga sessions for me?
Absolutely. We will spend some time discussing your comfort level with movement and where you would like to begin. All sessions bring together body, mind and breath, incorporate gentle movement, and will flow at an accessible pace.
What can I expect during a therapeutic yoga session?
Each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. You'll start with a discussion with our therapist about any concerns or topics you'd like to explore. The yoga portion will focus on intentional movement, body-mind-breath integration, and techniques designed to create awareness and enhanced coping.
Do I need any special equipment for the yoga sessions?
No special equipment is required. Comfortable clothing that allows for movement is recommended. A quiet space where you will be uninterrupted, can stretch out and move freely is all you need to fully participate. Yoga mat is recommended; however if you do not have one, please be on a soft, non-slippery surface. Your therapist will discuss with you before your first session.

Absolutely! While our services are designed with the unique needs of those populations in mind, anyone seeking support for their mental and physical well-being is welcome to reach out.
